A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF FAVERSHAM (AYITLOF) 2010 - What the project will deliver
The innovative project of both artistic and historical value shows the Faversham of today portrayed by photographers as well as providing opportunities to learn about the history of the town: A free exhibition, books (including a free one), free talks and workshops, activities for families and children, a competition. What the aims of the project are: . capturing Faversham in pictures, representing a diverse town with its landscapes, its architecture, its history, its events, its people...; . keeping a historical record of life in Faversham; the photographs will be stored by the Faversham Society as a social and historical record, for heritage purposes; . getting Faversham residents involved in a community project about their town; . giving an opportunity to town residents and visitors to explore the town and its history
